When opening or closing contracts, some users may encounter situations where they are unable to open or close a position, leading to order failures. The main reasons for such failures can be categorized as follows:
Reasons for Open Position Order Failure:
- Insufficient Balance: Check whether the contract account has enough balance. If not, the system will prompt "Insufficient available balance." You can reduce the position size, increase leverage, or transfer funds to resolve this issue.
- Order Quantity Limit: The order quantity for contract orders ranges from 1 to 1,000,000 contracts (or an equivalent amount in cryptocurrency). Orders exceeding this limit will not be accepted.
- Plan Order with "Only Reduce Position": If you set a plan order with the "Only Reduce Position" option without having any position, the system will reject the order to prevent increasing the position size.
- Price Deviation Limit: If the order price exceeds the allowed maximum deviation from the preset price, the order will fail.
- Forced Liquidation Price: If the forced liquidation price after the order execution exceeds the current latest mark price, the system will reject the order to prevent immediate liquidation after opening the position.
Reasons for Close Position Order Failure:
- No Margin Required for Closing: Closing a position does not require margin. However, if there is an existing close order, another stop-loss or take-profit close order, or any other closing order may require margin. If the balance is insufficient, the order will fail.
- Only Reduce Position Order: If a close order is filled and the position is already closed, another close order (such as a stop-loss or take-profit order) that is set as "Only Reduce Position" will fail because the system will not allow an increase in position size.
- Price Exceeds Liquidation Price: If the order price exceeds the liquidation price, the order will fail.
