Order Price Limits on DeeBit Exchange
To prevent large-scale funds from maliciously manipulating market prices and causing drastic fluctuations in future market prices, DeeBit Exchange has implemented certain restrictions on order prices. These restrictions aim to protect investors and maintain a healthy and stable market.
Order Price Limits
- Buy Orders: Only the maximum order price is restricted, calculated as:
Maximum Order Price = Mark Price × (1 + X%).
- Sell Orders: Only the minimum order price is restricted, calculated as:
Minimum Order Price = Mark Price × (1 - X%).
This rule adjustment applies to all contract types, allowing users to set a wider range of buy and sell prices within market demand.
Example
Taking the BTC_USD contract as an example, assume the current Mark Price is 50,000. The maximum deviation ratio for order prices of this trading pair is as follows:
- Maximum Buy Order Price = 50,000 × (1 + 50%) = 75,000
- Minimum Sell Order Price = 50,000 × (1 - 50%) = 25,000
Important Notes
- Reducing Positions: If the order is for reducing a position, the order price cannot exceed the bankruptcy price of the position.
- Increasing Positions: If the order is for increasing a position, the order price cannot exceed the estimated liquidation price of the position.
- Orders within the price range are usually not immediately liquidated. However, if the market price deviates significantly from the Mark Price, immediate liquidation may occur. If users wish to execute orders at such prices, they can try reducing leverage and retrying.
- Order price limits are not fixed and may be adjusted based on market changes. Please stay updated with contract information.
