Security Foundation of DeeBit Escrow
To ensure user asset protection, DeeBit has established a comprehensive security system for all Escrow transactions.
1. Fund Segregation Framework
- All Escrow funds are held in the DeeBit Escrow Pool
- Escrow funds are fully segregated from the platform’s own assets
- Compliant with oversight from Hong Kong SFC and multiple MSB / STO regulatory frameworks
- The platform is prohibited from reallocating, investing, or using escrowed funds in any form
2. Verification & Monitoring System
1) KYC Identity Verification
All users participating in Escrow transactions must complete identity verification. Transactions exceeding 50,000 USD will trigger Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
2) AML Anti–Money Laundering System
The platform automatically detects risk patterns such as:
- High-risk or sanctioned jurisdictions
- Abnormal fund flow
- Obvious splitting / layering strategies
- Links to blacklisted addresses
- Frequent delivery failures
- Potential fraud networks
If risks are detected, the platform may:
- Suspend the transaction
- Temporarily freeze the order or funds
- Request additional documentation
- Report to relevant regulators when necessary
Trigger conditions for transaction risk control
| Triggering reason | Possible consequences |
| Many delivery failures | System manual review |
| Many disputes are concentrated on a certain account | Temporary restriction on Escrow transactions |
| Suspected of false delivery | Freeze order review |
| Suspected malicious appeal | Downgrade of Escrow credit rating |
| Suspected of fraud | Full account freeze and report to the regulator |
| Suspected of money laundering | You must submit the source of funds (SOF) |
How should users avoid getting into risk control?
1) Make sure the information is accurate
All names, ID cards, and company information must be consistent with the transaction.
2) Use the guarantee function normally
Don't use Escrow for:
- Cash out
- Pay on behalf of others
- Gambling
- Gray market transactions
- False transaction records
3) Keep a complete communication record
Including project communication, requirement confirmation, delivery time, and documents.
4) Avoid suspicious funds
Don't use wallets from unknown sources or those that have been suspended.
What should we do in case of a misjudgment in risk control?
If the user accidentally clicks on "risk control":
1. The customer service will send a reminder to unlock
2. Users need to submit additional information (KYC, source of funds, contracts, etc.)
3. After the review is passed, the system will return to normal
It usually takes 12-48 hours to complete.
